There’s a children’s book titled I Know Here by Laurel Croza that might be a great lead-in to your project. I still love being read aloud to. This book was read aloud to me this summer and it hit some pretty emotional places for me, and it’s just a kid’s book. It could be a good way to grab your high school students’ attention. Your students are really going to engage with this project using the electronic crafting. Good luck!

Great presentation. It's a sad fact that funding is continually declining, and we have to do more, with less! But you have great enthusiasm for funding raising, and can supply your crafting with one bake sale. :-) It's great that you can incorporate electronic crafting into your curriculum. I think it will open up pathways for female students to enjoy and excel with electronics. Awesome lesson plan. I, too, think all schools need BYOD. I was thinking about proposing this, but for some reason, national critics say equity is not there yet. It's great your school has this policy already. The rest of us need to get on board!
